Rugged cast iron sections: designed to extract the maximum amount of heat, reducing fuel consumption and saving you money.

Cast iron couplings called "nipples": impervious to petroleum based chemicals, including anti-freeze, which can deteriorate the gaskets used in some competitors' boilers. The cast iron nipples expand and contract with the cast iron boiler sections they join. This insures the integrity of the entire section assembly. Time-proven cast iron nipples last the life of the boiler.

Hot Water Heaters
We recommend using the SuperStor indirect fired hot water heater. This unit supplies unsurpassed reliability and hot water heating needs compared to conventional water heaters. Using a circulator or zone valve, the SUPERstor unit ties directly into the boiler used to heat your home or commercial building. This allows the SUPERstor unit to transfer heat energy directly from your boiler to the hot water heater. It has no "burner" of its own. This design (commonly known as an "aqua booster") has several advantages over direct-fired designs that incorporate an oil, gas, or electric burner into the hot water heater:

No separate chimney or burner needed. By utilizing your existing boiler, the SUPERstor avoids the complexity and maintenance of a separate chimney stack just for your hot water heater.

More efficient combustion. The burner in your home heating boiler is much more efficient than those in direct-fired hot water heaters. By using these more efficient burners, the SUPERstor uses less fuel to make and maintain hot water.

Fewer burners to maintain. The SUPERstor re-uses the burner that fires your heating system. This means there are fewer burners to wear out and service during your annual heating system checkup, lowering your service costs.

Less heat loss. The SUPERstor system does not need its own "flue". Thus, it does not suffer from the 7- to 12-degrees per hour heat loss experienced by direct-fired units.
The SUPERstor unit has one of the best designs in the industry:

Stainless steel tank. Constructed of type 312L stainless steel, the tank in the SUPERstor unit won't rust, and can tolerate very high temperatures without melting.

Minimal heat loss. SUPERstor incorporates a 2" think blanket of closed-cell foam insulation, reducing heat loss to less than 1/2 degree per hour, and under 12 degrees per day. Most other hot water heaters have only 1/2' to 1" of insulation and lose 4 degrees per hour or more.

Rapid recovery rate. The SUPERstor has two or more times the recovery rate of gas fired heaters and supplies as much as five times the hot water as a comparably sized electric heater.
